A visit to Port Macquarie is not complete without a visit to Kooloonbung Creek Nature Park, which includes a Historic Cemetery, conveniently accessible and only a five minute walk along Horton Street from the centre of town, at the Gordon Street intersection. The well maintained Historic Cemetery has graves of notable early settlers of the Hastings area.
Covering some 52 hectares, the Nature Reserve preserves an area of natural bushland, furnished with two walking tracks and boardwalks, allowing you to wander and enjoy the beauty of the area and the relevant eco-systems.
